Left to the elements, the Rinowood™ framing will naturally weather to a gray patina for a softer, more rustic look–while the EasyCare™ paneling will continue to retain its color and require no maintenance. Refer to Wood Maintenance page for more information.
Cracks and checking may occur and are considered a natural occurrence in outdoor wooden furniture.
Oiling with Messmer's UV Oil is recommended to bring out the rich coloration of the wood, but it is optional and will not extend the life of the material.
Black Forest™ 52 Quart Ice Chest
Hampton Series: 2¼” x 2¼” vertical framework, arched accent boards, cross–support framework, dado slot paneling and hidden pocket hole construction.
304 Hardware: Every screw, rivet, bolt, and fastener is made from 304 stainless steel, which means no rust stain drips or weakening of structural integrity from the outdoors–even from salt air or humid climates and other caustic chemicals.
Each unit includes (1) double–walled Igloo 52 quart BPA–free cooler, spigot for easy draining, and compression dampers on lid.
Glides (“Feet”) Option and 36” (91.44 cm) height available for additional cost.
Important: Manually forcing lids shut is a potential safety hazard and may damage the brackets, leading to failure of the dampening mechanisms–thereby voiding our limited one year warranty policy.
For added rigidity on lids, a stainless steel T–channel bracket is included.
The use of EasyCare™ contributes towards credits MR 4.1 and MR 4.2 under LEED® and is BPA–free.
