Cracks and checking may occur and are considered a natural occurrence in outdoor wooden furniture.
Oiling with Messmer's UV Oil is recommended to bring out the rich coloration of the wood, but it is optional and will not extend the life of the material.

304 Hardware: Every screw, rivet, bolt, and fastener is made from 304 stainless steel, which means no rust stain drips or weakening of structural integrity from the outdoors–even from salt air or humid climates and other caustic chemicals.
Holds 15 quart containers (can be customized to fit any bottle diameter).
Glides (“Feet”) Option available for additional cost.
Important: Manually forcing lids shut is a potential safety hazard and may damage the brackets, leading to failure of the dampening mechanisms—thereby voiding our limited one year warranty policy.
