Rinowood™ is 100% biodegradable and requires only one energy source—the sun. It traps and holds carbon both before and after manufacturing. Every part of the tree, down to the bark, is utilized, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. The wood is cultivated responsibly rather than harvested from the wild. The harvesting and milling processes produce low pollution rates. Additionally, our hardwood supplier is certified by the USGBC (LEED) and FSC.
Among plastics, HDPE is the most environmentally stable. EasyCare™ is made from recycled HDPE, primarily sourced from milk jugs. As part of a green business practice, this process prevents hundreds of milk jugs from ending up in landfills each year. The use of HDPE lumber contributes to earning credits under the LEED® certification. Additionally, HDPE can be stripped down and reintroduced into the recycling stream. It emits no harmful fumes into the environment and is 100% BPA-free.
